Premier League victory in a row at the Motorpoint Sheffield Arena on
Thursday night. The 15-time world champion raced into a 6-0 lead,
allowing this opponent only a solitary dart at a double in the
process, as he eyed the first whitewash of the season.
MODERN PENTATHLON
Mhairi Spence overcame problems with her laser pistol
to join British team-mates Katy Livingston and Freyja Prentice in the
final of the Modern Pentathlon World Cup event in Italy. The
pentathletes are still getting used to shooting with laser pistols
after they replaced air pistols at the start of the year and Scot
Spence had to switch to an unfamiliar gun after experiencing
difficulties in the warm-up. |
