Mark Renshaw sprinted to victory on stage five at the Tour of Britain to lead home a 1-2 for HTC-Highroad in Exmouth. The Australian edged out Mark Cavendish at the finish as the loyal lead-out man was handed his chance to take victory, answering back at the selectors who left him out of a trip to the World Championships.
